Murphysboro Bocce Club by laws
​Established in 2011, The Murphysboro Bocce Club partners with the Kiwanis Club of Murphysboro and the Murphysboro Park District. Their shared goal is to promote fun and fellowship through the sport of bocce. 

The James R. Hall Kiwanis Family Bocce Park was constructed as a result of this partnership and has since become one of the regions finest public bocce facilities. 

The Hall Bocce Park, together with the MBC's thriving leagues, has not only accomplished the groups original goal to promote the sport but has also helped to revitalize a historic Murphysboro neighborhood.

Bocce Facilities

  • The James R. (Bob) Hall Bocce Park is located at the corner of Commercial Avenue and South 24th Street in Murphysboro Illinois at the entrance to Murphysboro's Riverside Park.  Located at the Bocce Park are the First Bank and Trust Company of Murphysboro Bocce Pavilion.  The Bocce Pavilion consists of three courts:  the Kiwanis Court, the Key Club Court and the Silkworm Court.  The courts are red brick dust honoring Murphysboro past brick producing history.  Also located at the Bocce Park is a bathroom/storage building.
